SUMMARY:Beyond Facilitation: The Secrets of Extraordinary Hosting
DESCRIPTION:Every Other Wednesday;\nFebruary 16th\, March 2nd\, 16th\, & 30th\n10 – 12:30 PT / 1 – 3:30 ET / 7 – 9:30 CET\nONLINE\n  \nHow can we move together through challenge and change and into more collaborative and participatory practice? What does it take to move beyond techniques to become more skillful in hosting groups? \nMove into the heart of hosting to deepen your skills\, your awareness\, and your practice.  \nThis is an extraordinary opportunity to learn with Art of Hosting Steward and Story Activist\, Mary Alice Arthur.  \nIn four short stand-alone 2.5 hour sessions presented and co-hosted by World Cafe Steward Amy Lenzo of weDialogue\, Beyond Facilitation is designed for serious participatory practitioners who want to deepen the foundations of their practice.  \nThe first two sessions are based on Mary Alice Arthur’s years of experience with and deep understanding of two priceless gifts developed by the Art of Hosting community for the field of participatory practice – The Fourfold Practice and the Eight Breaths of Process Architecture. Understanding these fundamentals will immediately deepen your practice\, no matter what format/s you are using in your hosting practice.. \nIn the last two sessions of Beyond Facilitation\, Mary Alice blends the leading-edge arts of participatory practice with a deep understanding of narrative\, the “secret sauce” of extraordinary hosting. Presenting story and hosting in a unique and highly potent fusion\, Mary Alice reveals story as an integral part of working with groups and shows us how to dance with it as one of your most trusted process partners. \nChoose the whole four-course meal or select individual sessions “a la carte.” \nMORE INFORMATION & REGISTRATION\n30% Group Discount for groups of 3 or more\nContact us with names & contact details for your group and we’ll send you the discount code

SUMMARY:Hosting in Complexity
DESCRIPTION:Complexity-informed Principles and Practices for Group Facilitation and Participatory Process \nWith Chris Corrigan \nA Beehive Productions Training \nTuesdays\, February 25th\, March 3rd\, 10th\, & 17th\n \n10am – 12pm Pacific Time\n(use a time zone converter for local times in your area) \n$300\n30% discount for groups of 3 or more\, and for Community Table Subscribers\n(contact us for promo codes – if you are a group\, please include names and email addresses of everyone in your group) \nFOR MORE INFORMATION & REGISTRATION\nComplex facilitation for addressing complex issues requires a special approach to working with groups. In the language of the Art of Hosting Conversation that Matter\, we call this approach “hosting” to signify that it has its primary focus on the spaces and processes that we use to host dialogue rather than a more traditional facilitation approach that manages the content\, meaning-making\, and dynamics. \nThis approach is defined by a focus on the two key outcomes: emergence of meaning and self-organization for action. \nChris Corrigan will share his insights of 15 years of trying to figure this all out sharing his current clarity that comes down to a simple set of underlying principles that have been deeply influenced by the work of Dave Snowden and Glenda Eoyang.

SUMMARY:Transforming Limiting Beliefs
DESCRIPTION:A Beehive Productions course\nwith Caitlin Frost \nFour Tuesdays: Jan 28th\, Feb 4th\, Feb 11\, & 18th  \nONLINE\n10am – 12pm Pacific Time\n(use a time zone converter for local time in your area) \n30% off for groups of 3 and Community Table Subscribers \nFor More Information & Registration \nThe important and often challenging work of meaningful dialogue\, collaboration\, and change-making calls on us to engage ourselves with rigorous and compassionate personal practice. It is both an opportunity and a responsibility for us to look closely at our own limiting beliefs and patterns in order to learn with humility\, amplify our potential for positive contribution and shift the negative impact we can sometimes have\, even if it is not intentional. Self-inquiry based personal practice can also provide us with valuable insights for our learning\, growth\, and wellbeing.

SUMMARY:Leaning in to Conflict
DESCRIPTION:With Rowan Simonsen\, Nina Nisar and Jay Rothman \nHow do we build capacity to be with conflict in creative and generative ways\, with kindness and courage at the center? \nHow can we be and work with the intensity and creative potential of complexity\, confusion\, and difference? \nWhat are we learning about working in the liminal space between conflict and collaboration? \nConflict like fire can burn\, illuminate or transform\, depending on HOW we handle it. In this course we  explore how to lean in to the fire of conflict and work with it\, and each other\, with greater skill\, respect and care. Leaning in to conflict – including the pain and confusion that often accompany it – and staying with it\, can help us learn and connect more deeply with ourselves and each other.\n\nWe invite you to join this exploration and deepening practice of creative conflict engagement that can help us collaborate better\, improve OUR relationships and ultimately make peace with conflict.

SUMMARY:Chaordic Design with Chris Corrigan
DESCRIPTION:Beehive Productions presents four 2-hour sessions\, every Monday in February 2018 – 5th\, 12th\, 19th & 26th \nWe are all living the constant dance between Chaos and Order. \nEverybody working in organizational life now is a designer\, increasingly working within more uncertainty and more demands on us to design solutions for the challenges that we are facing. This is true in both our personal and professional lives\, yet few of us have been trained to offer enough structure and clarity for new and better solutions to emerge. \nFor the last 2 decades strategic change agent Chris Corrigan has focused on understanding and integrating the principles and practices of Chaordic Design. This course will be like no other we have offered so far\, building on existing work in the field and bringing to bear all that Chris has been learning for a practical\, hands-on application of the tools and principles of Chaordic Design – Bring your projects and let’s get to work! \nREGISTER NOW \nWe encourage groups who want to work together by offering a special 40% discount for teams of 4 or more. Contact us with details (names and email addresses of your team) & we’ll send you the team “promo code”. \n
